Roles and responsibilities

This role has day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing and evaluating their client’s online and offline marketing, reporting to the MD.


This involves:
Evaluating past online advertising campaigns and using these results to create new briefs for the Online Marketing Executive. Whilst the Online Marketing Executive implements the campaigns, it would be desirable for the candidate to have knowledge of social media advertising, remarketing and advertising via the Google platform.

Plan, write and post content on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. With algorithms constantly changing, you share what is working with colleagues and adapt your posting strategy accordingly.

Respond to client comments and reviews on Trip Advisor, Facebook and other networks.

Create emails using Mailchimp or constant contact

Write all marketing briefs and copy, albeit for leaflets or new adverts and see these through to artwork. You will be responsible for ensuring the creative strategy is consistent.

Update all client websites and should a new website be developed, be responsible for project management and liaising with the web design team

Seek opportunities for the client to cross sell across their client base with posters / banners onsite, through CRM/email marketing and through social media.

Develop the client’s PR strategy, identifying PR angles, writing press releases and selling into press.

Responsible for booking and negotiating all third party purchases, as well as maintaining client budgets.

Build solid client relationships

You will build trust with your clients and a good working relationship. You’ll talk to your clients daily to build a solid and effective client relationship. This requires a pro-active individual who will often need to chase clients of feedback on the phone and not rely upon sending emails.

Look to improve results

In addition, this role is about improving the client’s results. You will need to measure and evaluate each campaign, be aware of how the client is doing financially and be totally pro-active in seeing how their plans can be improved.


Requirements

Marketing qualified with 3 years marketing experience, ideally within a marketing agency.

Confident communicator with ‘can do’ pro-active attitude

Effective copywriter with the ability to write posts for social media, short punchy copy for websites, emails or leaflets.

Knowledge of online marketing technique and google analytics

Ability to write a brief for a web designer or graphic designer.

Strong marketing communication planning and implementation across leaflets, websites, adverts etc. Experience of both offline and online techniques.

Excellent spelling, grammar and proof reading skills

Proven ability to build strong client relationship.

Proven project management skills. You will need to be a highly organised and efficient individual.

Excellent PC skills with strong use of powerpoint, excel, outlook.

Confident, outgoing personality with ability to present to clients
