Around noon on Tuesday 15thFebruary two males using a small van stole a motorcycle from outside it’s owners house in Oak Street, Hemel Hempstead. This is the latest in a series of motor cycle thefts across Hemel Hempstead.
The thieves cut the lock off the bike and lifted it into a navy blue Ford ‘Courier’/Fiesta van. The rear windows were blacked out and it had Ford KA hub caps. Unfortunately no registration number was taken.
One male offender was of mixed race, approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall, medium build, clean shaven, wearing a woolly hat, a dark top, blue denim jeans with white trainers.
The other offender, who was driving, was a white male of skinny build, possibly quite tall, wearing dark clothing and a woolly hat. He was aged 25-30 years.
The bike stolen in this crime was a distinctive black and yellow Husqvana, registration number HX 51 PXF.
This van and the thieves are identifiable and are likely to return to this area. Please pay attention for them. If seen do not approach but phone the Police using the 999 system, please try and obtain the registration number of the van. If possible quote crime number D1/11/1120 when calling.
