Between 6.00pm yesterday evening and 7.00am this morning, Friday 19th November, offenders forced entry to a house in Northridge Way, Warners End, Hemel Hempstead. They entered via the UPVC front door which may not have been double locked!
They stole a number of electrical items and computer games before making off.
Again over last night, offenders forced open wooden doors to a passageway at the rear of a house in The Horseshoe, Leverstock Green, Hemel Hempstead. The resident was at home, but fortunately the intruders didn’t gain entry to the house before making off.
Please ensure that your watch members are advised to double lock front and rear UPVC doors, at night and when leaving the house.
A number of residents have reported receiving a phone call from someone with an asian sounding voice, alleging to be from Microsoft.
The caller implies that there may be something wrong with the residents computer system. Microsoft do not make phone calls to users. This is a scam. Police advice is to give no information and hang up immediately.
Lastly, recent OWL appeals for sightings of suspicious vehicles have produced a number of phone calls, from Dacorum Watch members, reporting sightings. Neighbourhood Watch and particularly OWL works. Thank you for being part of it. These calls provide valuable intelligence which may lead to future arrests. Please continue to be vigilant!
