Trisha dashed across London after delivering a ’Scalp specialist’ seminar for Redken, to attend the premier of ’Vidal Sasoon the movie’ at the VUE cinema at the Westfield Centre, with her graduate team of stylists, who were inspired by Vidals story.
Trisha spent sometime chatting with Vidal, and was impressed by his knowledge, and enthusiasm for the craft at the age of 83!, They discussed the importance of appearance!, he shared Trish’s dislike of Tattoos on show, and casual wear such as ’flip flops’ in the salon!
He was amused when Trish told him that she had mentioned to a young girl in a florists, that she was going to meet Vidal Sasoon, the girl said ’oh is Vidal Sasoon a person? I thought it was a hairdryer’. Vidal laughed and said ’some people think I am a ’bottle of shampoo’.
The evening culminated with a standing ovation, and an open forum of Questions and Answers.
