Raising money for Meninadanca, a christian Brazilian charity
Expressions Academy are a creative arts company based in Hemel Hempstead. We seek to impact the community and also have a vision to use arts to share the gospel. We are hosting an event on the 21st January from 10am-3pm to raise money for meninadanca, a christian Brazilian charity that uses dance and other therapies in safe houses to rescue young girls from child prostitution, bringing hope, healing and justice (see http://www.meninadanca.org/Meninadanca/home.html)
The day will involve dance classes for all ages, cakes, other refreshments and childrens activities throughout. It is open to anyone and we want to have fun, raise money and increase awareness about the vital work meninadanca are doing.
