Spring Clean your Skin

Now that you’ve at least contemplated dusting behind the curtains and hoovering down the back of the sofa, how about checking in with your body to see how it’s fared over the cold winter months?
A great way to do a check your body is to put a flannel on the palmar surface of your hand when you have your morning bath/shower and rub - bidirectionally – all over the body to stimulate the skin beyond the surface. What you are doing is stimulating your lymphatic system to perform the job it’s designed for – getting rid of waste products. As you do so, you may notice some areas of tenderness – pay more attention there. Don’t forget to do the tops of the feet and between the toes. Girls – concentrate on smoothing out those hips, thighs and backs of arms ready for wearing skimpier clothes in the warmer weather!
It is frequently overlooked that your skin is an excretory organ and as such, needs to be toned. Giving yourself a frequent rub down – preferably every day – will ensure you keep the skin clear and enable your body to release toxins quicker (via skin and lymphatics).

Stimulating your skin gives you a great buzz at the start of your day and definitely helps you get going† give it a try and see how you can make a difference to yourself.
