Between 7.00am on Tuesday 6th July and 7.10am yesterday offenders tried to force open a UPVC rear door at a house in Oakwood, off Shootersway, Berkhamsted. They failed to force the door but did gain entry by levering open a window.
They searched the whole house and stole a number of items including a flat screen TV, before making off. This is the second burglary of this type, committed recently, at detached houses in Berkhamsted.
Please pay attention to neighbour’s houses particularly if they are away on holiday. Phone the Police immediately using the 999 system if you see or hear anything suspicious. Do not approach suspects or their vehicles. |
