| St. Mary´s was founded in 1864 as an Endowed Church of England School to serve the families of Northchurch. In 1971, St. Mary´s became a First School and part of the Berkhamsted three tier system. Children enter school at the age of rising five and move on to one of the town´s Middle Schools in the September following their ninth birthday. |
