It’s all about Jo of Creases….
I met Jo for the first time over lunch in my garden – she is the proprietor of Creases. We had spoken over the phone, so it was lovely to meet and we chatted for ages!
It is always interesting to hear how people set up in business. For Jo it all started when she began ironing for a friend after she had her baby, which soon became a regular occurrence. These requests grew and grew and soon Jo found herself busy organising her life around motherhood, ironing and driving around the town, her little boy as a driving companion, delivering to her growing number of customers.
Eight ironing staff and several drivers later, Jo now has a healthy business – which has not only grown by sheer hard work and determination but by her commitment to offering excellent customer service – something that seems to be lacking so much nowadays. If Jo´s customers are happy then so is she and this came across very strongly.
Although Creases have specific days for collection and delivery Jo is fully aware how urgent situations can arise, so does offer flexibility for those emergency situations!
Ironing - we either love it, hate it, or simply don’t have enough time for it - so it’s such a treat having this done for you, even if it’s every now and then. For me I like to do a trade off with myself – if I wash my own car (which is also a bit of a workout) a call to Creases is then in order. ……. It’s definitely worth it!
