| This is the local office of Dacorum Borough Council for Berkhamsted. There is a Customer Service Unit and cash office dealing with queries and taking payments for any council services.You can also buy refuse sacks for trade, domestic or garden waste. There are many free leaflets about council services. You can get a Dacorum Card and apply for travel concessions. You can report problems with highways, street lighting or a missed refuse collection. There is also a Housing Office covering the local area.

| Berkhamsted Youth Town Council are based at the Swan Youth Centre, and are a voice for all young people in Berkhamsted and the surrounding villages.
Members are aged between 12 - 18 years and attend local schools and have been elected by their peers. They make sure that young peoples voices are heard in many aspects of their community life.
